Scrolls

In this series, I transformed some of my drawings and paintings on paper into three dimensions by tearing them into rectangles, rolling, securing them together with thread and  glue into sculptural wall hangings.   It was a way to breathe new life into old pieces, while creating something of a departure from my usual work.  On the insides of the scrolls, I wrote  in scribbled, asemic marks, making them repositories for my private thoughts, adding another level of meaning to the work.
